Roads Closed: 7:30AM-5:00PM
Conservative Booth Location: 7846 128 St

The South Surrey-White Rock Conservative Association is pleased to announce our booth location on the Surrey Vaisakhi parade route, this Saturday, April 20th. This is the largest Vaisakhi event outside India, which is a very important holy day that Sikhs have celebrated around the world for over 300 years. The Surrey Vaisakhi parade has become one of the largest community celebrations in the past 20 years, and it is expected to draw a massive crowd of hundreds of thousands of people.

The actual parade leaves the Gurdwara Sahib Dasmesh Darbar Temple, located at 12885-85 Avenue at about 9:30 AM and is expected to complete the circuit at 4:00 PM.

Booth Location
***Our booth will be located on the North East corner of the intersection of 128th Street and 78th Avenue on the Uppal Building Supplies Lot:

As you can imagine, with such large crowds, access to the event will be a significant challenge, especially considering roads in the area will be closed from 7:30 AM until 5:00 PM. We recommend arriving early, parking off-site and walking into the event. Please wear proper footwear and dress for the elements.

Volunteer

We will need volunteers to stay at the booth with us for a few hours at a time. For more information or if you would like to help, please click here to register.
